This historic high-visibility property in Santa Monica’s Bayside Commercial District had been in the same family for more than 40 years when the owners decided to sell. They interviewed multiple brokers before we won their confidence and their business.

Notably, the three-story U-shaped building constructed in 1914 is in an area with a range of permitted uses. We marketed the property without a listing price but highlighting its potential as a multi-layered investment that could be rehabbed (with the interior redesigned) as a multi-family, commercial or mixed-use property.

Our unique marketing strategy resulted in a sales price that far exceeded even the seller’s expectations.

Located near the Third Street Promenade, the Santa Monica Place mall and the Santa Monica Pier, the building is 25,292 square feet. At the time we helped sell it, it was operating as a 49-unit apartment complex.
